Goodreads.com

If anyone is wondering where the nifty little “Currently Reading” box to the left comes from, it is Goodreads.com.  I found this site while hunting for a way to link my current book of interest, and found a really valuable resource in the process.  Goodreads allows you to set up a profile, rate books you’ve read, compile lists of books you want to read, and a slew of other tools that writers and readers alike will find useful.  As far as I can tell, this is the best place to go to find other books by your favorite authors, view their most recent updates, and otherwise organize your entire reading career.

Searches are fast and dynamic, the site is incredibly easy to use, and if your friends sign up, you can link profiles to keep tabs on their interests and recommend books.  If you haven’t already, I would strongly suggest checking it out – it will make things a heck of a lot easier on you!
